On State St, between 16^th and 17^th, you will find the Atlantic Station dog recreational area. Inside Brook Run Park, just one mile north of downtown Atlanta, you will find the Henry Jones Dog Park. There is no running water or fountain, but there is a dedicated group of volunteers who work hard year round keeping the park in good shape and water buckets are often provided.

Piedmont Park is one of the best known areas in the city of Atlanta and it is often overflowing with playful pooches looking for a good time. You can take your puppy or full grown dog down to Piedmont Park any time for a good run, some fresh water and some intermingling with other dogs.
